Machine Operator

We're on the hunt for a skilled and safe Machine Operator keen to take on a long term role with a national steel supplier! This is the perfect opportunity for a skilled Operator who enjoys working in a hands-on and physical role.

ROLE

• Operating and setting Roll Formers
• Read and interpret drawings
• Operate forklifts (if licensed) and overhead cranes
• Quality checks on finished products
• Follow strict safety and quality requirements in the workplace

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience operating sheetmetal or steel machinery
• Current forklift licence (highly advantageous)
• Previous experience operating a forklift with JIB attachment (highly regarded)
• Experienced in using measuring tools and reading drawings
• Strong focus on safety, quality and communication
